Welcome

We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the content of the Nursing LibGuide and use it as a starting point to begin research projects based on specific information needs.

How To Use The Guide

Click on the various tabs to be directed to specific sources.

  • Use the library catalogue to find books/videos on your topic. When you find a relevant resource, use the subject term links to find more on the same subject.
  • Find journal articles using an appropriate database – if you’re not sure which index is the best one to use, start with a general one, such as Academic Search Premier.
  • Use alternate sources of information, such as videos, the Internet, government publications, etc. Ask the library staff for help if you are having difficulties finding materials.

The Library & Learning Commons is hosting a "Learning to Cite APA Style" session specifically for Nursing students. This session will be led by Nursing Librarian, Lynette Gallant, and English faculty member, Erin McConomy.

We are offering two sessions:

Tuesday, Oct. 24th @ 12:00pm

Tuesday, Nov. 7th  @12: 00pm

Please confirm your attendance.

See you there!
